What Ceramic Coating Does
Ceramic coating is a professional-grade liquid polymer that chemically bonds to paint or gel coat, creating durable surface protection that lasts years — not months like wax.
Benefits Include:
UV protection (helps prevent oxidation & fading)
Hydrophobic surface (water and dirt release easily)
Increased gloss and depth
Easier maintenance
Helps preserve resale value
What It Does Not Do:
Does not prevent rock chips
Does not make surfaces scratch-proof
Does not eliminate maintenance
Clear expectations. Professional results.

Full wash & decontamination
Claybar treatment

Ceramic FAQs
How long does ceramic coating really last?
Most professional ceramic coatings last 3 to 5 years with proper maintenance. 10-year coatings are designed for long-term durability, but longevity depends on how the vehicle is cared for, where it’s stored, and how often it’s exposed to harsh conditions.
No coating lasts forever without maintenance.
Do I still need to wash my vehicle?
Yes - ceramic coating makes washing easier and less frequent, but it does not eliminate the need for regular cleaning. Dirt, pollen, road grime, and salt still accumulate — they just release more easily from a coated surface.
Will ceramic coating hide scratches or swirl marks?
No. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it. That’s why we perform paint correction before applying it. Minor swirls can be reduced, but deep scratches will not disappear unless corrected first.
Is ceramic coating worth it on an older vehicle?
It can be — if the paint is still structurally healthy.
If the clear coat is failing or heavily oxidized, coating may not be the right solution without restoration work first. We assess the condition and give an honest recommendation.
Sometimes correction alone makes more sense than coating.
What’s the difference between ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF)?
Ceramic coating adds chemical resistance, UV protection, and easier maintenance.
Paint protection film (PPF) provides impact resistance against rock chips.
They serve different purposes. Ceramic coating does not replace PPF.
Does ceramic coating help in winter?
Yes — it helps with:
- Water and snow shedding
- Easier salt removal
- Reduced buildup
However, it does not prevent corrosion if the vehicle is neglected. Regular washing is still important during winter months.
How do I maintain ceramic coating?
Maintenance is simple:
- Regular hand washing
- Avoiding automatic brush washes
- Occasional maintenance topper (if recommended)
We provide guidance after installation so the coating performs as intended.
How do I know if ceramic coating is right for me?
Ceramic coating makes sense if you:
- Plan to keep your vehicle long term
- Want easier cleaning
- Care about protecting value
- Prefer long-term protection over repeated waxing
- It’s not ideal if you’re looking for the cheapest short-term shine.
